What buyers WANT when they SHOP for a home
How Buyer Shop in Today's Market:
- 6-12 Months Out: buyers start looking at homes online
- 3-6 Months Out: buyers start drive-by window shopping
- 1-3 Months Out: buyers start home viewing process
Based on NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS (NAR) statistics, below are the results of a recent survey of BUYERS:
- 84% of Home Buyers begin their home search on the internet
- 3% of Home Buyers found their home in the Newspaper
- 98% of consumers want multiple photos / virtual tours
- 78% of consumers ignore listings with no photos
- 50% more hits on listings with virtual tours
- 98% want neighborhood information
- 80% want interactive maps
Trends: LA Times no longer offers paper real estate section anymore
